This one was made by the Architect Eduard Engler in 1884. I don’t know a lot about it and I’m still no sure… is it a cat with wings or a bat who’s holding this oriel? 🙂
This one is similar to the one in the Schwertgasse 11. Face masks, dragon monsters and cherubs were popular motifs on many of the city’s late 17th and early 18th century bay windows.
