The Atelier House of the Sitterwerk Foundation offers international artists a unique place to live and work in St.Gallen. Two spacious studios with adjoining living quarters provide the ideal environment to develop new ideas, prepare exhibitions and experiment with materials. Around 90 artists from Switzerland and abroad have already been invited to realise projects here.
During their residency, many artists open their studios to the public, offering a rare glimpse into their creative process. Together with the neighbouring art library, materials archive and foundry, the Atelier House is an inspiring destination where art, craftsmanship and research come together.
