Colorful, bold, and playful – these are the words Patrizia Fani uses to describe the jewelry pieces she designs and handcrafts under the label «fani». What began in 2024 as a creative experiment within her own four walls quickly evolved into a heartfelt project with growing reach. Initially, Patrizia designed the earrings just for herself, to complement her outfits with colorful, individual accessories. But it didn’t take long before colleagues, friends, and acquaintances began to notice the unique designs – and wanted a pair of their own.
Since spring 2025, her jewelry has also been present at design markets, where visitors can view, try on, and take home the vibrant, graphic pieces. «It makes me happy to see people discovering my earrings – to see them laugh, try them on, be surprised at how well they suit them, and how much joy they bring», says Patrizia.
Patrizia draws inspiration not only from everyday life but also from her professional environment. As a graphic designer and art director at a communications agency, she is surrounded daily by colors, shapes, and design concepts. This passion for design is reflected in each piece of jewelry – sometimes as a colorful eye-catcher, sometimes as an elegant statement piece with a clear visual language. She also spent several years living and working in St. Gallen, where she was likewise active in the creative industry.
A special highlight is the customizable design concept she offers her customers: On her Instagram profile, interested individuals can not only get a glimpse of the current collection but also become creative themselves. Using four basic shapes and six colors, it’s easy to create a personal favorite piece – individual, handmade and unique, just like the people who wear them.
