The Man Who Walks Without a Map
In a world obsessed with reaching goals and hitting KPIs, Andres Weber is doing something radical: he’s walking for the sake of walking.
At 35, Andres works at the intersection of IT and Energy—a world governed by rules. But on the streets of St. Gallen, the only rule is to stay curious. Photography has become his ultimate ‚off-switch,‘ a way to navigate life and his relationship with fresh eyes. It’s taught him that the world is full of skurrile (bizarre) and witty scenes if you just bother to look.
«The beauty of it is the lack of a goal,» he explains. «If I end up with a photo that makes me happy, that’s a memory that stays with me, regardless of the phase of life I’m in.» It’s street photography as therapy, as art, and as a reminder that the most interesting things happen when you aren’t looking for them.
