The Kloster Notkersegg sits above the city near the Three Weieren and is a place of quiet and history. Founded in 1381, it grew from a small community of religious women into a monastery with a long tradition.
Most of the current buildings date back to the 17th century and offer wide views over the region. A small group of Capuchin nuns still lives here today, shaping daily life through prayer, community, and care for elderly sisters.
For visitors, Notkersegg is above all a peaceful retreat in nature – perfect for a short walk and a break from everyday life.
