Samyra Egli, a true St. Gallen local, has turned her passion into a profession with the Sauer Bar. Guided by the motto «Bread & Wine are Friends», she combines two simple pleasures that perfectly complement each other.
More than ten years ago, while travelling through San Francisco, Samyra discovered her love for sourdough bread – and the art of natural baking has fascinated her ever since. What began as a hobby for family and friends has grown into her life’s work with the opening of the Sauer Bar.
«I have joy, passion and love for honest loaves of sourdough bread – without any fuss. Good bread and good wine, that’s all I need», says Samyra Egli.
