» Spisergasse 11
The house was owned by the lords of Grünenstein in 1428 and then by the wealthy merchant families Krom, Kobler, Schlapprizi, Eugster, Bärlocher and Huber. The wooden oriel at the height of the first floor shows medallions of rays and garlands on the parapets: triglyphs on the frieze.
On the south facade there is a small keg with the inscription: «In 1517, 180 Iuchart vines only gave one bottle of wine.»
If someone knows more about this oriel please write me!
