This is a very traditional and elegant restaurant and one of those typical St.Gallen first floor «Beizli» in the old town. The entrance of the restaurant it’s a local door where you must bent for going in and when you go to the stairs you could feel the house past. The food is plane, fine and tastes very delicate.
The local specialty is: Bratwurst with onion sauce, veal strips, and sliced veal with mushroom cream sauce, all served with toast. The wine book is full of tasty wines – lovely called the «winebible». The location of the restaurant is perfect, 10 min walk from the main St. Gallen Trainstation and has a beautiful view on the St. Gallen Cathedral.
By the way: Ask Alex (the chef) for surprise-meals (three or four courses), inform him about your food allergies, relax and enjoy what he composes for you and your friends.
