I was actually walking by «Gelb & Grün» (Yellow &Green) on my way home. I was never in there before but when I entered this store, I was like: «WOW» and «OH» and «Beautiful». It’s a stunning and old building with very high ceilings and beautiful old floors!
When I entered the store I meet Claudia the owner. She is very kind and helpful. Claudia told me some stories about the building. Before Claudia opened her shop, there was a hairdressers for almost 30 years in this building. And before that, the building served as a post office. That’s why the entrance is so stunning! She also showed me the old delivery room, where the postbags where hung up for many years.
The flower store «Gelb & Grün» was established in December 2018 and has been bringing a touch of color to the homes of St.Gallens’s residents ever since. Before Claudia opened her new store at the Grossackerstr. 2, she have had a store in the Shoppingcenter Lerchenfeld for over 16 Years .
Claudia’s Shop is occasionally open – the other days Claudia works as a teacher and exam director. She loves flowers over everything and that is what she wants to give back to others! Claudia has gifts and flowers perfect for any anniversary, whether it is your first or your 50th. By the way: Anniversary flowers are always a great way to remind that special someone how much you care.
You can order flowers for various reasons (parties, funerals, wedding and a lot more) and different types (bouquets, boutonnières, table settings and ceremony flowers). Whether you prefer a look that is classic and traditional, modern and trendy, soft and romantic or unusual and offbeat. Whether fragrant roses, tulips, lilac or sunflowers – you can order beautiful cut flowers and artistically created bouquets and arrangements in line with the season.
I recommend this place because Claudia is very personable and for me, this store is not like the other ordinary flower shops… you can see Claudia’s special and own style and I really like that! Take note of the special opening hours – it is only opened a few days the week!
