This fantastic festival has been held in the city every year since 2013. This year they present a diverse mix of music, acrobatics, dance, and comedy. With over 40 acts from 23 nations, the St. Gallen old town becomes an open-air spectacle of street art and attracting thousands of visitors from May 10th to 12th.
The program includes familiar favorites from past editions and new talents, with approximately 400 shows ranging from musical performances to visual displays. The festival also features a street food market.
If you like a performance by an artist, you should show your appreciation by show your appreciation by putting money in the hat. This money is the fee or or rather the artists‘ wages.
The festival is free to attend, but the organisers are dependent on your donation to ensure that it takes place again. You can therefore buy a festival wristband on site, they cost: 20 francs for patrons, 10 francs for adults, 5 francs for children
